Dueling Pianos

This is a projection mapping project that I made in collaboration with another classmate our junior year that takes input from two midi keyboards. When both keyboards play the same note, particles radiate where the notes overlap on screen. This TouchDesigner project helped me and my classmate land an internship over the summer at LightBorne Communications.

With the two keyboards facing each other, we were met with design challenge in figuring out how to get the correct pitches to line up with each other. Our solution was to flip half of the screen and cover the seem with a saloon door.
